Data Restore

Occassionally, The database files may be corrupted and need restoration. The following are the options for data restore:

1. Restore data from back up folder

• Go to C:/supermenu/dbbackup2 folder
• Under the folder, find the folder with the most recent back up, for example, if today is 02/02/2019, the most recent back up folder is C:\supermenu\dbbackup2\20190202, copy all the files under this folder and paste it into c:/supermenu/db folder
• Restart the software

2. Restore Orders

• The POS software will archive orders everyday to improve the performance of the database
• To restore archived data records, Go to Back Office, then Admin & Back Up, the restore Orders By Month
• Select the Month to restore the orders from

3. Restore Menu

• A Back up copy of menu will be created when you exit the software
• The menu back up will be saved into c:/supermenu/menubackup folder
• You can restore the menu from the back up
• Go to Back Office, then Admin & Back Up
• Click on Restore Menu
• Select the date of the menu you want to restore from

4. Restore other data

• Go to Back Office, then Admin & Back Up
• Click on Restore Selected Data
• Select the Type of data to be restored
